Overview
Prospect Intelligence is a ChatGPT plugin that helps users analyze companies using public information and AI-assisted research. It turns source-backed business developments into prospect briefs for marketing and advertising sales professionals.
Information processed
When ChatGPT calls render_prospect_brief, the MCP server receives the structured information required to render the requested brief. This can include a company name and domain, industry and market information, public business information, research dates, generated analysis, source titles and URLs, opportunity and confidence scores, marketing signals, hypotheses, conversation starters and sales questions.
The MCP route processes this payload in request memory and returns it to the widget. The application code does not write prompts, MCP request bodies or completed company analyses to a database.
The separate web workspace can receive a company name and an optional domain. In the current production configuration, it returns demonstration data because no external analysis API credential is configured.
If a user chooses PNG export, the browser creates the image and uploads the PNG bytes, a sanitized filename and a random download token to the Prospect Intelligence host so that the file can be downloaded from a normal HTTPS address.
Personal data
The service is designed for company-level research, not private-person profiling, sensitive-personal-data collection or unauthorized surveillance. Public company information may sometimes name business representatives, such as executives, when that information is relevant to a company event.
Do not submit passwords, authentication credentials, payment card information, health information, private personal records or other sensitive personal information.
The application code does not create user profiles or maintain its own database of IP addresses. Hosting and network providers may process ordinary technical request information as described below.
Public sources
Prospect Intelligence works with information that may come from publicly available company websites, press rooms, career pages, news publications and other public sources. Source titles, URLs and dates may be included in a prospect brief so users can review the underlying material.
Public information can be incomplete, outdated, ambiguous or later changed. Users should verify important facts directly with the cited source.
How information is used
Information is used to receive and render the requested prospect brief, provide temporary PNG downloads, operate and secure the service, validate requests and diagnose technical failures. Prospect Intelligence does not use analysis data for advertising profiles.
Data retention
The application does not permanently store prompts or completed prospect analyses. Structured brief data remains available in the ChatGPT experience according to the platform's own handling of conversations and tool results, rather than in a Prospect Intelligence analysis database.
PNG export download links expire after 15 minutes. Expired files are denied access and are scheduled for deletion when an expired link is requested; the service also removes expired exports when new exports are created. An expired object may remain in infrastructure storage until that cleanup completes.
The application emits limited error messages when an export cleanup or an external analysis request fails. It does not implement general-purpose user activity logging. Hosting, network and security providers may retain standard technical logs under their own policies and retention practices; Prospect Intelligence does not set a separate retention period for those provider-controlled logs.
If you email support, the message and any information you include may remain in the relevant email accounts as needed to respond, maintain correspondence and meet applicable obligations.
Sharing and service providers
Prospect Intelligence does not sell personal data.
The service relies on OpenAI and ChatGPT to provide the plugin environment and initiate MCP tool calls, and on managed hosting and Cloudflare infrastructure to serve the site, run the server and temporarily store PNG exports. These providers may process request content and ordinary technical data as needed to provide, secure and troubleshoot their services under their own terms and privacy policies.
When users open cited source links, the third-party source receives the normal information associated with visiting its website. If a user contacts the support address, the email is processed by the sender's email provider and Microsoft's email services used by the developer's Hotmail address.
The current production configuration does not send entries from the separate web workspace to the OpenAI API because no API credential is configured. Use of ChatGPT itself remains subject to OpenAI's handling of the user's conversation and platform activity.
Cookies and tracking
The Prospect Intelligence application code does not use analytics, advertising trackers or analytics and advertising cookies. The public information pages do not require cookies to be read.
ChatGPT or the managed hosting platform may use strictly necessary platform technologies outside the developer's application code. Their use is governed by the relevant provider's policies.
Security
The implementation uses HTTPS, structured input validation, file-type and file-size validation for exports, random time-limited download tokens, restrictive response headers and a read-only MCP tool that does not modify external company data. No system can guarantee absolute security, and users should avoid submitting confidential or sensitive information.
User choices and rights
You may contact the developer with questions about personal information, privacy or a request concerning information handled by Prospect Intelligence. Available rights and how they apply can vary depending on your location and applicable law.
Requests involving information controlled by ChatGPT, a public source, a hosting provider or an email provider may need to be directed to that provider.
Children
Prospect Intelligence is intended for professional and business use and is not designed for children.
Changes to this policy
This policy may be updated when the service or its data practices change. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page will be revised when material changes are made.
